There are moments in life when everything feels overwhelming, and it’s difficult to navigate your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or relationship challenges. You might be carrying the lasting effects of trauma, grief, obsessive thinking, or loneliness, or feeling uncertain about your direction in life.
In these times, therapy can offer —a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can reflect, explore, rehearse new roles that will allow you to begin the healing process.
Together, we’ll work to identify the patterns that have kept you feeling stuck. In therapy, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with new ways of responding that are more aligned with your values and your goals for healing and growth.
My role is to hold this space for you. With empathy, encouragement, and guidance, as you take meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.
About Me
Hi, I’m Hannia Burke-Agüero, a bilingual and bicultural therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find harmony, clarity, and healing. With training in Clinical Psychology and a concentration in Drama Therapy, I blend evidence-based methods with creative, embodied approaches that honor each person’s unique story.
Over the years, I’ve worked across diverse settings—from supporting children and families in Costa Rica and Colorado to guiding immigrants, couples, and women navigating life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply human; I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change in your life and relationships.
Outside of my practice, I find joy in time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I love to preserve cultural ties through cooking. I enjoy gardening, traveling, exercising, exploring cultures, taking pictures, and creativity through home projects.
